Begin in Dresden’s historic Old Town and walk through centuries of royal ambition, destruction and remarkable rebirth. See the magnificent Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera House, Frauenkirche and Brühl’s Terrace overlooking the Elbe. Along the way, hear the stories of Saxon rulers, legendary treasures and the dramatic events that shaped the city. Then cross into Neustadt and experience a completely different Dresden. Discover colorful courtyards, street art, independent cafés and the creative atmosphere of a neighborhood where locals actually live, meet and spend their time. Later, leave the city for the sandstone landscape of Saxon Switzerland. Walk to the famous Bastei Bridge, dramatically set among towering rock formations above the Elbe Valley. Our day trips start and end in Prague. We pick you up directly from your hotel, apartment or other agreed accommodation and bring you back at the end of the day. There is no need to travel to a meeting point or use public transport.
We specialize in private and small-group day trips from Prague. Our groups are kept small, usually just a few guests and never more than eight people. This allows us to offer a more personal and relaxed experience throughout the day.
Our tours include pickup and drop-off in Prague, comfortable transportation, an English-speaking local guide, bottled water and light refreshments such as fruit, nuts or snacks. The exact inclusions are listed on each tour page.
The amount of walking depends on the tour. Our city and sightseeing tours usually involve easy to moderate walking, while some of our nature trips include longer walks or hiking. Walking distance and difficulty are described on the individual tour pages, and we always try to adapt the pace to the group.
