Explore Bohemia is a small local tour company specializing in private and small-group day trips from Prague.
I’m Alex, the founder of Explore Bohemia. I created the company around a simple idea: the best journeys should feel personal, relaxed and genuine — more like exploring with a knowledgeable local than following a large tour group.
We keep our groups small, usually just a few guests and never more than eight. This gives us the freedom to adapt the pace, spend more time somewhere you love, take a spontaneous stop, or simply enjoy a place without rushing to the next attraction.
From elegant spa towns and medieval castles to mountain landscapes and places most visitors never discover, we want to show you a Czech Republic that goes beyond the usual tourist route.

Our private and small-group day trips from Prague are designed for travelers who want to experience more than just the famous landmarks.
We love beautiful places, but even more, we love the stories behind them — the people who lived there, the history that shaped them and the small details you might easily miss when travelling on your own.
You might find us walking through Karlovy Vary, exploring medieval Loket, following a quiet trail in the Ore Mountains or stopping somewhere simply because the view is too good to drive past.
There is an itinerary, of course. But there is also room for curiosity.

This is not a large coach tour. It is a day designed to feel personal.

Small groups allow us to travel differently. We can adapt the pace, answer your questions, make spontaneous stops and give everyone the time to actually experience each place.
Door-to-Door Comfort
Your day starts and ends at your accommodation in Prague.
We pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation and bring you back at the end of the day. No meeting points, complicated connections or worrying about parking.
Thoughtful Details
The little things can make a big difference.
Comfortable transportation, bottled water, light refreshments and a few thoughtful surprises are part of the experience. We take care of the details so you can concentrate on enjoying your day.
